Number: 35 Height: 184cm Weight: 82kg DOB: 01-08-1986 Put himself on the map this year with a NAB Rising Star nomination and attracted interest from Melbourne-based clubs hoping he might return home. Despite missing the last four games with a shoulder injury, he looks to have cemented a spot in the best 22. From: www.lions.com.au

I've noticed him playing more of a running half-back this season so far. Maybe this is an audition and position change for him.
What do you people think? Do you like him there? I prefer him in the midfield myself. He's hard at the ball and a good tackler. |

I think that Riska being played in defence is about giving him the chance to fast track his defensive development, in much the same way as Brennan was thrown back this time last year.

I don't mind him in defense as we need it. Good to have skills in two areas.

Yes, and with Adcock playing midfield, it makes sense to move someone like Riska to defence.

Besides we have enough midfielders.

And we could use some dashing defenders.

His form has picked up a bit recently, and his tackling has been 1st rate. Glad to see Risky back playing the kind of football i know he can.

Playing some of his best footy that we know best.
One of our best tacklers @ the club and delivering them. Keep it up Risha. Stay confident. |

Great game again from him tonight, he's hitting some top form and it's terrific to see.
That goal from the middle.... how did that get through!?
