That's really great. It must be hard sometimes being nice and polite to all these people when you just want to go home and put the feet up. But with Simon, you never feel like you've got less than his full attention.

Amazing game! One of his best. Great form. He'll keep it up. I'm glad I placed money on him for the Brownlow @ the end of Round 1. Good potential and a winning team helps.

That was by far and away his best effort this season so far. Much more of that and he'll definitely walk off with a second Charlie.

Confirmed that Black has Osteitis Pubis, early stages. He'll be carefully managed.

That's bad news, how long will he last for the season?

Thankfully the club medical staff have caught it early, however a timetable return is difficult with this injury.

Early scenariro which Simon has is simply rest and access. This can sometimes be 4, 6 or 8 weeks later.

Worst case option is always surgery.

It's really wait and see material unfortunately.

Our midfield looks a bit weak without Black and Johnstone especially talking experience wise.

So he's out of the game until it's healed. No reduced time such as playing for three quarters or even half a game?

No I doubt it, this will just aggrovate the injury a lot more and make it worse. This will also cause the need for more surgery.

As I said before, if detected early, it's simply a matter of resting and accessing.

If it was finals time, he might be able to play through it, but it gets worse.

Brown played with it a few years ago and it only gets worse. This is one injury you'd prefer to avoid and never experience.

It's basically inflamation of the pubic bone.
