I know the Media down in SA has been slamming Pearce down but I reckon he would be too valuable to trade...
If it does happen, he will add speed in our midfield and up forward on the flank as well...would be stoked and over the moon if we got him. :D

Trust me...pearce is getting traded. Port wants new players and all the members are demanding it! Things get run alot different down here with the media and members having a big influence. Now Pearce isn't fitting in with the team plans and has the most currency on the trade market, so he will go. We must pick him up as he is very young and will be right up there with drummond & Rich in the foot skill department.

Straight swap Charmo for Pearce but it would worry me a little I also think Vossy would not like the lack of defensive game Pearce has he is great with the ball in his hands but going the other way there aint many lazier than Pearce I seriously doubt voss would even consider that trade to be truthfull we should try to get David Armitage he is a local boy and has not gotton a regalur spot playing at the Saints.

The lack of defensive pressure is a issue at Port...I think Voss will get that into any player at the lions...just look at what we have done with TJ who would have been the laziest player in the AFL prior to arriving at the lions

Hey Balone No doubt pearce is a talent I just think he aint a "Vossy" type of player never will be............... doubt he will land in Brissy but I have been wrong before................also he would be a good fit here we do need that outside Mid that can kick goals to balance it out.

I really hope we can get him...I think Charman will be used to get either Ball or Pearce. I think with Redden, Rich, & hopefully Risky back in the middle we have enough hard ball getters in the team. So Ball may not add alot, but pearce brings pace to match that of sherman and will demand a tag. If a player demands a tag they are in for me as the more of these you have the better off as a team you are as only 1-2 tags can be effectly applied in a game.

I would prefer Pearce over Raines Dude and I see us holding most of our picks this year we drafted well last year and should be able to bagg some more this year in the last untainted draft it will have to be a player swap for sure

well they rate this years draft as one of the worst ever...so I really think getting raines for a late rd pick as a good option

also, my thought is that we need to get alot of ready made talent around Brown while he is in his prime...we spent 4 seasons out of the finals with a player like brown in our team. I want players who can start hitting there prime in the next 4 seasons to take advantage of brown...and Raines fits in the category.

I like armitage as well...but I believe he just resigned on...and the saints rate him highly. He just needs another season or 2 to crap into a tough team. But I dare say that if he can't make the team next season then he could be a real option. But this season he is not a chance for us.

The only decent player that we could target from the saints is ball... I think a straight charman trade would do the trick.
